• (Note 1) In addition to the above, the Special-Case Retired Persons Medical Care System requires having a certificate of residence in Japan and being ineligible for the Medical Care System for the Advanced Elderly.
• (Note 2) Period as a Voluntarily and Continuously Insured Person does not count as a period as a compulsorily insured person.
• (Note 3) If you wish to join the Society’s Special-Case Retired Persons Medical Care System after joining a new employer’s health insurance, the system for Voluntarily and Continuously Insured Persons, or National Health Insurance, contact the Society’s Operations Dept. (Application).
