In principle, reissuance of Health Insurance Eligibility Certificate (postcard format) will be subject to a fee starting in April 2026.
At Hitachi Health Insurance Society, from the perspectives of convenience, information timeliness, and portability, Health Insurance Eligibility Certificates are provided electronically via MY HEALTH WEB.
The Health Insurance Eligibility Certificate (postcard format) is therefore issued only on a limited basis to insured persons who have a genuine need for it.
Accordingly, in order to ensure fairness with users of the Myna health insurance card and those who use the Health Insurance Eligibility Certificate issued electronically via MY HEALTH WEB, a reissuance fee (equivalent to the actual cost of issuance) will, in principle, be charged when reissuing a Health Insurance Eligibility Certificate (postcard format).

Persons Subject to the Reissuance Fee
When reissuing a Health Insurance Eligibility Certificate (postcard format) to insured persons who have already been issued a Health Insurance Eligibility Certificate (including electronic issuance (*)), a reissuance fee will be charged.
(*) Insured persons who have previously displayed their Health Insurance Eligibility Certificate on MY HEALTH WEB will also be considered as having already received the certificate, and issuance of a postcard-format certificate will be treated as a reissuance subject to the fee.
Please note that insured persons who are registered with MY HEALTH WEB can display their Health Insurance Eligibility Certificate on their smartphone.
Therefore, there is no need to apply for reissuance, and no fee will be charged.
