Is the waiting period always three consecutive days?
Yes. The waiting period must consist of three consecutive days. For example, if, during a single week you worked on the third day while taking the first, second, and fourth through seventh days off, you would begin to receive the Injury and Sickness Allowance on the seventh day, after completing the three-day waiting period, which was not completed during the first three days of the week.
