I suffered another and different injury while receiving the Injury and Sickness Allowance and I remain unable to work as a result. Am I eligible to receive a new Injury and Sickness Allowance?

If you remain on leave due to a new illness or injury sustained while you were receiving the Injury and Sickness Allowance for another illness or injury, you are eligible to receive the benefits for up to 18 months for each illness or injury. However, since you will receive only one Injury and Sickness Allowance during the period in which these injuries or illnesses overlap, the daily benefit amount (two-thirds of your standard daily remuneration) will remain unchanged.
