[Alert] Suspicious Phone Calls Regarding Health Insurance Cards
There have been reports of incidents where individuals claiming to be officials from the Ministry of Health,
Labour and Regional Bureau of Health and Welfare call and play an automated voice guidance asking about
the use of health insurance cards.
With the upcoming abolition of health insurance cards, it is expected that suspicious calls aiming to create anxiety may increase.
Even if phrases such as “We have called multiple times” or “This is the final notice” are used, please note that no organizationwill ever contact subscribers directly in this manner.
Please do not respond to any phone calls or emails that seem suspicious.
