Home-visit nursing services are provided by a nurse or other professional based on home-visit nursing instructions issued by a primary care physician. They may include observation of symptoms, sponge baths and hair washing, treatment for bedsores, position changes, management of catheters and other medical equipment, rehabilitation, assistance with eating and excretion, and guiding family members on long-term care.
