How will High-Cost Medical Care Benefits be calculated if I’m hospitalized once again during the same month in which I was released from the hospital?

Payment of High-Cost Medical Care Benefits is based on individual rezepts. If you were readmitted to the same department of the same hospital in the same month, the case will be handled using a single rezept. Accordingly, your copayments will be totaled for both times you were hospitalized. The amount exceeding the Cost-Sharing Maximum Amount will be paid as High-Cost Medical Care Benefits.
